SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, or CVMA, is an association of United States military veterans and their families who share a love of riding motorcycles. Our mission is to support and defend those who have gone into harm’s way to defend the United States. Our mission is exemplified in the motto “vets helping vets.” We regularly sponsor and support motorcycle-related charity events to benefit our military veterans and their families.
CVMA California is divided into eight chapters across the state. Our chapter, 33-9, covers the San Francisco Bay Area. We meet every 3rd Saturday of the month in Danville at the Veterans Memorial Building. Once a quarter, we hold the meeting elsewhere in the Bay Area. We also have more informal rides, and regularly participate in rides and events hosted by other CVMA chapters.
We have three types of members: full, support, and auxiliary. Full members are U.S. military veterans with verifiable combat service, support members are other U.S. military vets without verifiable combat service, and auxiliary members are spouses of full members. See our Membership Page for full membership guidelines and how to join.
Our upcoming events are listed in the bottom left of this page. You can also view our full event calendar.
